2013 Resolutions- Family Style

Dec 31, 2012 | By Brittany Johnson

It's the time of year when we begin to assess the goals we made last year, how we accomplished them (or ignored them) and what we'll do to make 2013 our best year yet. In the midst of your dieting, exercising and career resolutions, we think it's extra important to determine a few goals for your family. What will you strive to achieve as a family in 2013? We've gathered some inspiration for you in hopes that it will help solidify your resolution list.

1. Put the focus on your health: You place value on the importance of your own individual health, but why not include the family in your efforts to eat better, sleep more and stay healthy in 2013? Here's a few tips to get you started, and they're no-brainers!

2. Quality time is key: In the craziness of new year activities and festivities, it's easy to get caught up in the to-do's and forget to spend one-on-one time with the most special people in your life. This list of the top five family resolutions keeps the focus on what's important, making it easier than ever to grow together.

3. Goal Oriented, no matter the age: Teach your child the meaning of a new year's resolution by keeping it simple. These suggestions are a fool-proof way to ensure a goal is set and met. Victory will be theirs (and yours) this year!

4. Plan together, stay together: By setting a goal as a family, you encourage a team spirit that will help you all follow through with the resolutions that you set. You'll be motivated to perform for the kids, and everyone will have an accountability partner to cheer them on even after January ends.

Happy New Year to you and your family!

Merry Christmas, from our family to yours!

Dec 24, 2012 | By Brent Singley

This is the time of year when it's hard to ignore memories and short walks down memory lane. As we look back on how quickly the weeks between last Christmas and now have come and gone, we are amazed, in awe and ever so thankful. Thankful for you, our customers and friends, that make life sweeter by letting us share the joys and adventures with you and your itty bitties every day. Thankful for the beauty of this life, and for the opportunity for a fresh start and another new year.

As we snuggle up with friends and family this Christmas, our hope is that you will truly cherish the many blessings in your life, as we certainly will. Time escapes us far too quickly not to savor every moment and memory as we make them.

Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Teeny Tiny and Up to No Good!

Dec 21, 2012 | By Brittany Johnson

WANTED: Two teeny tiny elves, dressed in red and full of holiday cheer!

Jingle and Jangle in the Kitchen Making a (healthy!) midnight snack.

Jingle and Jangle read a bookSnuggled up with a good book. It appears they're keeping out of trouble...for now!

Jingle and Jangle in the cash drawerThis is NOT allowed!!! They're going to be in BIG trouble!

That's right folks, they're at it again. Jingle and Jangle have certainly made themselves at home at Itty Bitty Bella and are up to no good! Of course they mean well and are just over the moon with Christmas spirit, but we just can't keep up with their shenanigans! Hopefully your boys and girls behaved better than they have, or Santa might have to check his list an extra time or two! From hiding in displays to knocking over piles of gift wrap and ribbons, we have our hands full with these rascals.

Jingle and Jangle in the MamaRooWho doesn't want to take a ride or two in the MamaRoo!

Who are we kidding though- it's the most wonderful time of the year, a time for fun and games! While we sometimes fret about the messes they make, we do have fun wondering what Jingle and Jangle's next adventure will be, or where they'll turn up in our store.

Better watch out though- those little elves may be teeny tiny, but they are super sneaky this time of year! Let the countdown to Christmas begin!
