Baby Singley Gender Reveal Party

Apr 23, 2014 | By

One really exciting and fun thing to do while being pregnant, is finding out weather it's a boy or girl! So of course like any soon-to-be mommy and daddy, we couldn't wait to share in the joy and surprise with our family and friends by throwing a reveal party! And now, we want to share with all our fabulous customers our fun party pictures and exciting news!

The Invitation

So first thing first, we had to come up with a theme that would be introduced through our invitation. After much searching online and Pinterest, we decided that we loved the idea of little boy and girl silhouettes.

Now that we were set on the silhouette theme, we jumped right in to making that theme flow throughout our decorations. We liked the idea of "more is less" when it came to decorations and color scheme. I didn't want to go the traditional pink and blue route, so I was thrilled when the 2 colors of yellow and turquoise paired so nicely together.

How To Reveal?

We pondered over the how-to-reveal part of the party for a while and we knew we did not want to find out at the ultrasound because we thought it would be oh so fun to share in that moment with our closest friends and family. There are so many cute and creative ideas out there, and we were just so excited to find out! We love cupcakes (who doesn't?) and so we knew we wanted to include cupcakes in the reveal. But instead of every cupcake being filled with the gender colored icing, we thought it would be so funny if only 1 of the cupcakes had the gender colored icing in it. And boy (or girl!) did that sure add to the suspense as everyone bit into their cupcake!

Team Boy or Team Girl?

Before we dove into our cupcakes, we gave everyone one last chance to cast their vote using either a boy silhouette or a girl silhouette. It was so fun to see what everyone's guesses were!

The Big REVEAL!

We are tickled PINK with joy over our baby girl! Not it's time to go shopping!

Crafting and making treats with your little ones is something enjoyable to do all-year-round. But we think they are especially fun when holiday themed! Salt Dough Eggs

Peeps Fruit Kabobs

Do your kids love to eat? Of course they do! We adore this super cute way to "fun-up" the idea of a kabob. Your kids can pick and choose from so many different colors of fruit and then mix and match them with their favorite color peep. What a great way to encourage eating healthy...minus the peep!...while giving a lessen in color variation too!

Glitter Polka-Dot Eggs

We think this craft speaks directly to the hearts of all little girls! Any excuse to play with glitter right? And think of all the endless possibilities of designs you can make. This one will have your kids crafting their own creations for hours. Just be sure you hard boil the eggs first!
