Bumbleride Strollers- The Ride of Your Life

Jul 09, 2011 | By
Yes, folks you read right. Bumbleride strollers are now available at Itty Bitty Bella. We've been listening, and although we still LOVE the UPPABaby (and you do to), there's nothing wrong with options...and a little healthy competition!

As a lightweight, urban jogging stroller Bumbleride takes the cake. They are not only durable, rugged and built to last, but they are absolutely works of art as well. From the sleek lines to the striking color combinations there's nothing not to love about Bumbleride.

The Indie is one of their best selling models. It's a basic, go to all-terrain stroller that is anything other than ordinary. Easily snap your infant carrier onto the stroller or lay your baby snugly in the stroller seat and you're off to the races.

Must-have features such as a quick full reclining seat, a SPF 45 sun canopy, and adjustable footrest ensures a happy, comfortable baby every time you use your Indie. (And lets face it, a happy, comfortable baby is a happy, comfortable momma!)

One feature we love that's just for you parents- an adjustable handlebar. Now you and your taller/shorter spouse can push the stroller with comfort and ease.

Expecting twins? Well congratulations! The Indie Twin encompasses all of the fantastic features of the Indie in a twin side-by-side stroller.

If a more compact umbrella stroller meets your needs, then consider the Bumbleride Flyer. All jazzed up, this is not your typical umbrella stroller. Our favorite feature- the rotating handlebar so you can have baby facing you or looking out into the world.

If you're looking to carry your infant in the Flyer you have two great options. You can attach your infant seat or use the Bumbleride Carrycot.  The carrycot easily attaches to the stroller seat/frame and allows your infant to by laying snug and secure.

Bumbleride has incredible head/neck support, which makes their strollers great for instant use after your baby comes. The Flite, a sister to the Flyer is a light, is a compact stroller that offers you everything you need, plus a little more. You can even attach an infant seat to it's slim frame.

They have already started to arrive, so come in and see them for yourself. We're so excited!!

You're Getting Sleepy...

Jun 15, 2011 | By
Or at least you hope! If you're having trouble getting your little one to sleep, then pay close attention. Our Itty Bitty Bella mom's swear by these life-saving sleep aides!

Children, especially babies, are soothed by soft, rhythmic sounds. Many experts (and mom's!) believe this is because that's exactly what baby heard for nine months in the womb. Makes sense, doesn't it! So when you take a stuffed animal and combine it with the sleepy sounds that babies love, you're left with one fantastic, kid-friendly product.

The Sleep Sheep and Giraffe are expertly disguised noise machines that attach to the outside of a crib, bed post or stroller to help soothe your little guy or gal into dreamland. Each animal is equipped with 4 different sound settings (water falls, rain, jungle noises, heartbeat, etc.) and two timer settings (up to 45 mins.). We love the volume dial, fully equipped with a wide range of options!

The Nap Nanny will soon be your best friend. It's a portable recliner that features the softness of a blanket, the contour of an infant seat and maximum stability to help your baby rest peacefully. Not only is it great or sleeping, you can feed your baby his/her bottle while they are strapped in or they can play and relax.

Weighing in at only 3 pounds, the Nap Nanny can travel around the house so you can get chores done while keeping your baby close. Some mom's believe that the delicate angle of the seat is great for babies with colic, and for those babies that don't enjoy sleeping flat.

Let your child drift off to sleep with their favorite lovey in hand. They're the perfect size for any age to cuddle against their cheek, and every child loves the soft, fuzzy blanket and smooth satin trim.

Ever heard of a WubbaNub? It's a pacifier and a plush toy in one. The medical grade silicone pacifier is securely attached to the plush toy to help the pacifier stay in your infants mouth, resulting in a peaceful sleep for the both of you. Expertly weighted, the plush toy is designed to hold the pacifier in your baby's mouth, just as you would have to do if it were 3:00am and it kept falling out! The plush toy also helps babies manipulate the pacifier themselves at a younger age since they have a larger surface area to work with.

Give your sweet baby a nice place to sleep no matter where they are! Keep a Serena and Lily Moses Basket at your house or at Grandma's so there's always a place for them to nap when they need it most. The firm but comfortable mattress and well constructed sides will keep them safe, contained and snuggled in for a quick nap or a long night's sleep.

Sweet Dreams!

Wet Happens!

Jun 08, 2011 | By
Wet happens.
Spills happen.
Snacks happen.
Diapers happen.
Sippy cups happen.

So what's a mom to do? Let us help you out. Get a "Wet Happened" bag. They're ideal for everything from grapes to crackers, wet swim cloths to bottles and paci's.

This handy snack bag (7"x7") is ideal for diaper snacks, car snacks or school snacks. The inside is conveniently made from FDA approved, BPA-free, PVC lining. (Basically, it's safe, reusable, washable, and durable!) Send it in to school in your children's lunches to cut down on all the plastic bags that are just as easy to use, and the zippered top is just as secure.

Or, if you have more gear to carry that what fits in the snack bag you can upgrade to the larger bag (11"x14"). The zippered top and interior lining is just the same as the snack bag, only you can fit way more stuff! Try diapers and wipes, change of clothes, wet swimwear, bottles or sippy cups.

Don't think these are just for the kids, either. How about using them for your gym clothes, in the car, or for your snacks as you run errands (and kids!) everywhere!

Boon- Modern Products for Modern Babies

Jun 06, 2011 | By
Boon products are sleek, modern, practical and oh-so functional. There isn't a snazzy feature they haven't thought of to make your life with a baby easier. Thank goodness!

If this doesn't catch your eye, nothing will. Boon's Pedestal  Highchair with Pneumatic lift is exactly what you need to make mealtime pleasant. Easy up, easy down with a simple step on the orange button, removable tray (dishwasher safe!) and removable seating pad all make feeding your Itty Bitty's that much easier.

Need to move the highchair out of the way when you sweep? No worries, simply unlock the foot break and the chair glides on wheels. Lock it back up to keep baby in their place. How did we live without such convenience... we're not sure!!

The streamline design, modern appeal and one-piece plastic chair all make for a beautiful, functional highchair like we've never seen before.

Teaching kids to eat snacks, cereal or dinner from a bowl can be rather messy, wouldn't you agree? Luckily, Boon has a solution for that, too! The Catch Bowl has a sneaky little runway that extends towards your child to catch any food that trying to escape. The runaway food ends up back in the bowl, and ready for the next bowl-to-mouth attempt!

Oh, and another little secret: the bottom is a suction cup so it sticks to the table or highchair tray. No more experiments involving gravity.

It's no secret that hand-eye coordination in youngsters is not all that great. And for good reason, too, since they're still learning. Benders are fantastic spoons and forks that bend any which way so you can teach your little one to feed themselves. Bend the Benders at a sharper angle for younger children, and slowly straighten the angle as they get older and more comfortable with utensil feeding.

There you have it. All your motherhood woes have been solved...at least when it comes to feeding!
