Girly Girl
Mar 19, 2012 |Remember when we posted our favorite neutral color schemes for the nursery? Well, if you're planning to go all-girl we pulled together a great list for you. And if you're just wanting a splash of girl here and there, these are great jumping off points!
Punch up the pinks with bold fuchsias and cool turquoise.
Dream of the beach as you rock for your 5th hour straight in the rocking chair. This cool and calm color scheme is one you won't tire of quickly.
When you think lavender bedroom you might be scared into thinking back to great grandma Joane's house...but by deepening the hues and adding a pop of green you'll definitely be decorating for the 21st century. You could even use the purples as accent colors and base the room around the neutral beige.
If you're not quite ready to let your inner design diva out, this is a great neutral color scheme that still packs punch. It's definitely a color scheme that can grow with your sweet baby girl into her "big girl" room.
These rich colors are definitely stepping outside the box when it comes to the nursery. Your baby girl will have no problem getting cozy in a room full of deep, rich purples and pinks. The pop of green sure does brighten things up!
Take the traditional route and go all pink. Even though you're sticking with tradition, the pinks shown above lean a little bit towards the unexpected with their hints of purple and grey.
So, what's your nursery color scheme? Is it out of the norm or totally traditional?
